Some of the causes of Erectile dysfunction is attributed to health problems like heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity, cancer. Other causes are too much smoking and alcohol.

Other factors that leads to Erectile Dysfunction are psychological. Work stress, depression, mental fatigue, anxiety, lack of interest in sex and relationship problems between spouses. Constant worries about work, money, health and children often cause a person to lose interest in sex.

To get an erection, the penis must be gorged with blood and this necessary condition is controlled by the brain. The brain plays a key role in getting a person into the mood for sex. Sexual thoughts and feelings are necessary to arouse the penis. Blood vessels that supply the penis relax allowing an increased blood supply to flow into the shafts that produce the erection.

Importance of Sex in a Marriage

Sex is extremely important in a marriage as it helps to maintain a close emotional bond between a couple. Man is made to procreate, so that civilization can continue. When a man suffers from erectile dysfunction, the other partner suffers too. Sometimes, it can lead to extra-marital affairs, simply because a woman has sexual needs that needs to be fulfilled. Without doubt, sex is a great stress relief. Sexual frustrations can lead to emotional problems and eventually ruin a marriage. Unhappy marriages easily lead to quarrels and arguments. The whole point of restoring a man’s sexual ability is that it is so vital to his self-esteem and feeling of wholeness instead of a feeling of emptiness.
