• Causes of Curved or Bent Penis

  Some men have a curved or bent penis during erection. It can cause embarrassment as it can affect a man’s sexual activity, hence his self esteem.  This is often attributed to Peyronie’s Disease, named after Francois de la Peyronie who first described this penile disorder in 1743.

  

  The causes of Peyronie’s Disease is not fully understood and mostly affect men around the age of 50. Some causes could be due to genes or injury to the penis.
